Better EdSpace is more than a tuition centre. Our programme blends the best elements of Montessori education, project-based learning and STEM exploration to create a rich educational experience for teenagers. We believe adolescents learn best when they:
• Explore real-world problems• Work collaboratively with peers
• Develop independence and responsibility
• Engage deeply with science, creativity and ideas
Our learning environment encourages curiosity, resilience and intellectual independence while supporting academic preparation for GCSE qualifications.
Many home educated teenagers benefit from opportunities to learn in small groups. Our classes typically include 6–10 students, allowing tutors to provide personalised support while encouraging collaboration.
This structure helps students:
• build confidence in discussion and debate

“Heather has been fabulous helping my daughter with chemistry for her A Levels. I'm so glad we found her as she talks through bits clearly and was so very helpful. We completely recommend Heather. “

“My daughter has always loved biology, but when faced with GCSE requirements to learn all three sciences to a good level she quickly lost that. Just six short months with Heather and my daughter is loving science again and is hoping to do Biology A Levels.”
