How do you make sensible choices about borrowing, saving and debt?

In this practical, interactive workshop, we'll explore what happens when we save money, borrow money or spend money we don't yet have.

We'll look at different ways of saving and borrowing; explore how interest works; think about when borrowing can be useful and when it can become a problem; and consider practical ways to manage debt.

The emphasis is on real-life understanding rather than complicated maths. Young people will work through examples and activities designed to help them make more informed and confident decisions about money.

Suitable for ages 14–15. No previous knowledge needed.
