GCSE Dance at Better EdSpace is a dynamic, creative course that allows students to explore dance as both a performer and choreographer. Students will build technical skills, develop original choreography, and critically engage with professional dance works. The course blends practical performance with thoughtful analysis, giving students the chance to express themselves physically and intellectually.
Our approach places equal importance on performance, creative development, and dance appreciation—helping students grow as artists and critical thinkers.

Learn and perform set phrases as a solo dancer (around 1 minute)

Take part in a duet or trio performance (3 minutes within a 5-minute piece)

Create your own dance piece as a solo (2–2.5 minutes) or a group dance (3–3.5 minutes)
